Ericson at Waterline Marina in Melbourne Fl. It is now at the Titusville Marina on Florida’s east coast
There have been other projects such as building and installing a new forward hatch and rebuilding the main hatch. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the work on the Ericson. The reward is those days you get out and go under wind power, it’s great and I love it.
My first job on the boat was to change oil and tune up the A-4, which put it in good running order. I have a spare A-4 to go into the boat if need be. I think between the two A-4s I will have power the rest of my life. The next job was to install a second bilge pump. I have a lower 1500 gpm and a 2000 mounted higher
The stove shown is an alcohol one that just fit on top the old Galley Made oven allowing the gimbal feature to still work
I’ve redone the table to drop down against the bulkhead instead of removing it and stowing it in the head.
I’ve added a sink in the head and plumped it so I can use fresh water to flush the toiler or send the water out the head intake thru-haul
